Default nitrous 78mm plate is only 75mm, port it?

I got a nitrous plate and it is actually only 75mm. I have a 78 mm FAST throttle body and intake. Any body else had this problem? Can a guy just port it or will that wreck the distribution? This motor is over 500 fly wheel hp so this a restriction already, any ideas?

That could be. I was working on a hummer with a wierd noise and it ended up being one of those dumb throttle body spacers with the swirls in it.

Our 78mm plate is perfectly matched to the stock 78mm intake and throttle body. In all reality it is 75mm when you actually measure them. Why GM called it 78mm is beyond me.

I know I already answred the porting question in your email..

I do have a question though.. Hopefully this does not come across wrong.. Why would you spend the money for a fast 78 intake and throttle body for 3 extra mm? I hope it was just a hell of a deal.
