Default Who runs 10's with juice in a m6 without heads or ported heads?

Just as the title states, I wanna see what it takes with a 150 shot to run 10's. I was thinking about the g5x3 cam, 150 shot, lsx intake, flp long tubes, mufflex cat back, and 12 bolt should do it?

My '99 SS 6-speed has 4.11 r/p, Stage 2 clutch and a 150 dry shot, but I don't have any times yet. It might run 11s at sea level.

Fireball ran 10s on the spray. I think he had a 221/221 cam at the time. A strong rear and hefty clutch are definitely needed.

Gonna have to lighten it up a little too. Low weight and traction are key to 10's on a cam only nitrous car.

I got down to 11.38 - totally stock engine to include stock heads and cam - on a 100 shot of TNT. Good suspension. DA was at +4500 - heat of the 4th of July weekend.

Can it be done on a totally stock engine? I'll never find out, just put heads and cam in the SS. But with a cam, I have no doubt it can be done, espcially at sea level.

yup. went 10.83 @ 129.4 back in the day with a B1 cam/stock heads on a 150 shot. Had a 10-bolt with 3.73s and mcleod clutch. my 10-bolt was reinforced with crossbracing and whatnot...but it did break 2 runs later

I ran a 150 shot, 3.73, tr 224 cam, ls1 intake, and the bolt ons and ran 10.9 in 2800 da weather, best mph of 129...so I know it had the power.

it's pretty well all in the suspension. you're motor combo is allready there. cut a good 60' and you're 100% there.
