Default 150 shot questions

Hey guys i have been running my 100 shot for a year now and like every new season need to go a lil faster. I plan to drop a fuel pump and straight 110 and see she does. I would like to get some more advice. Current mod are lid, smooth bellow ,descrean maf, cut off muffler and 100 on the fogger. Best time is 12.16 @114 1.6 60ft spun for a sec then hooked on nt01s spraying out the hole.

I am also wondering how the stock a4s are holding up on a 150 hit with a ten bolt

It will hold for a while but eventually the torque will take it toll on the stock transmission. The stock rear end is a hit or miss once you bolt some sticky tires to it and let it bite on the spray.

Thats awesome. From My experience once the stock one goes out and a trany shop rebuilds it they never hold for as long as the stock one did.

I dont see the need to run 110. Car should go close to 120 mph.

Add a cam and spray the 150, you will have the power to run some killer times, but that's if you can put it down,

Another question i have is, is it really worth going to a plate over s fogger i hear people say it hits harder but will you see drop in et on the same shot?

Also i can only seem to run my best times with my buddy zex bottle over my nos bottle not sure why?

Once you get the car to hook on sticky tires, the stock trans won't last long. Mine only lasted about 10 bottles with 68000 miles on it. I have always run synthetic fluid and an external cooler. 93 octane fuel will be fine for a 150 shot. Maybe your buddies bottle has a better valve and pickup tube compared to your NOS bottle.

I beleive that is because most local little tranny shops do **** work and put in crapy universal clutches that could be for 200 hp cars. The only place to get transmissions built for these cars is sponsors on here like FLT or Performabuilt imo. Or atleast a well known/proven performance tranny shop that knows how to build a tranny for high hp.

I have sprayed 175 and 200 on 93, sprayed 150 with 93 many times. I run 8 degrees of timing out and br7ef plug gapped .032.

Car has 106000 miles on it, transmission has a shift kit but other wise stock, 10 bolt is bone stock. I have have definatly been lucky.
