Default Who is running NANO?

I have only seen a few people in a couple threads say they are running it. I have just started looking into it and from what they are saying about it, it seems like a decent set up. It has some downfalls such as the extra weight and the extra cost of getting it refilled and the intial cost of it, but it seems that the benefits outweigh the negatives for someone to get everythign out of the kit. Is there a reason that not more people are using it? For the people that are using it, what kinda of gains have you seen at the track?

I run it. Haven't at the track but I have on the Dyno.

On a 150 wet shot with Nano it put down an extra 165whp from what it put down on motor. I added the 25% to the fuel jet that Nano recommends but it fattened up it to like 10.2 AFR. So there was a lot left on the table. Probably would have been a 180 shot if it was leaner. Now this is also with 9 degrees of timing pulled. So I would say that is a pretty good jump.

Now I have a stand alone fuel system that I have installed but haven't moved the fuel noid over to it yet. I can add some of that timing back in and get closer to a 200 shot all from a 150 on Nano.

I think that's a good deal.

In JEGS they say a 10lb bottle will go twice as far with nano due to the fact of using the full bottle before refiling, any truth to this???

Default Love the NANO!

I have used NANO for two years on my 250 shot and can't imagine using anything else like bottle heaters, warmers. With NANO it's plug and play! It's also true that you get more out of a bottle because you get a constant pressure until the bottle is empty. For convenience, performance and ease of use can't beat it. Also, Brad at NANO is great and really stands behind his products with great service and advice.

I have the 4500 psi NANO kit and I like it because I can use my nitrous bottle down to the last pound.

The only problem i have is getting the 4500 psi filled. In my area i have to drive 1 hour to get the NANO filled, i wish i would of got the 3000 psi.

Having the bottles filled is the only issue, along with multiple bottle set ups. BUT it is still a proven set up and you won't be disappointed if filling isnt an issue

I have the 3000psi system. Haven't hooked it up yet, but getting bottle filled was easy. Cost $10. Heard many say 4500psi system was hard to get filled

Thanks for the great comments guys Sometimes it can be difficult finding places for a 4500psi fill. I do the best i can helping to find filling solutions. If any of you have not had me look around yet let me know. We are working right now on a filling sheet for places we have found, called and confirmed a 4500psi fill.

There is a scuba shop a ways away, but going to call the local fire extinguisher place to see what they say.. I already have to drive an hr to get my nitrous bottles filled, so the travel is no biggie.
