Bruce

I'm more of a NOS or NX fan, but running a small 100 (and since you got it for really cheap) it should be fine. Not sure how universal the kit is though. You might need differnt lenght lines and stuff

Have one and it will work find, you'll never install anything more simple or easy. It works off 0-5v tap it into TPS and you're ready to rock. The thing about the lines is most likely a none issue. They give you a lot more than you need to give you enough to go under the car and mount the bottle where ever you want.

I feel like I read somewhere that their kits were rated at fwhp vs other kits that are rated more towards rear wheel horsepower. Maybe it was that they over rate their kits. Something funny was up with them and it turned me off.
My Zex kit worked but that nitrous outlet kit put it to shame. Nitrous outlet just builds a better product.

OP just do lots of research before you bolt it on. Everyone is of the opinion that its relatively user friendly and easy to install and it works but use the search and google and form your own opinion. It doesn't really matter what we think, it's what you think. It's goin on your car. I just don't think you're gonna get much further with this thread because its not the most common LS setup out there.
We like those big *** trash can solenoids that we will never use but look cool as ****. Hard lines, purge solenoids, plate systems and direct port kits........ Lol

I ran a Zex kit on my car for years, [75 shot with a zex window switch plus bottle heater]. It was super easy to hook up and it never let me down. I switched to a nitrous outlet system and gave the Zex kit to a friend who installed it on hiss '99 Mustang gt. He has been running it for 2 years now. With a prior best of 13.45 et the zex kit dropped him to a 12.85. He was more then happy with his "free mod". lol
So between two owners that kit has lasted 6 years between 2 owners. I would call that respectable.
And yes, Zex rates their nitrous kits at the flywheel.

Yes I should have made that clear, you can only get about 150wheel out of the small solenoid box NMU. They say 175hp but you can run a jet calculator and see what those jets are actually putting out. You can also go a little bit higher than the 175 they say but not much before you just reach the physical limits of that NMU box.
