7.100 at 97mph in the 1/8th. Your thoughts
Stats are in my sig. Where should I be with what I have? I've got the Edelbrock progressive giving me 40% off the line with a 1.2 second ramp to the remaining 60% of the 150 shot. I have a PTC th400 rmvb with a 4000 stall 10" converter that I wanna put in after the clutch gives out. Let me know your thoughts.

Seems almost about right. I went 1.477 60' with the 6 speed and went 7.07 at 97.8 and 11.07 at 124. I put in a th400 with a yank 3600 stall set up for a 200 (still on 150) car went 1.471 60' 6.9, and 11.02 at 122

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. It's my first time using nitrous and was hesitant about it so I decided on that percentage and ramp rate but now that my "***** dropped", I'm gonna give it a try with 100 off the line and the other 50 .5 later. Let's hope the LS7 clutch lives! The clutch has been holding great at this particular setup. Btw I drove home 26 highway miles on the slicks. I don't normally but it was getting late and swapping wheels was gonna be a mission at midnight so I took a chance and left the slicks on and it actually drove great at 65-70 on the turnpike. Only went up 2lbs of pressure.

Drove a total of 250 miles round trip to PBIR in West Palm Beach and ran 4 low 11 second passes. Loaded up the slicks and skinnies and jack and went home. I love this car! Nothing like beating on it and driving home in 6th gear with the ac blasting and my Monsoon playing.

Dont switch the car to an auto if you enjoy driving the 6 speed so much. You will regret not having those luxuries unless youre trying to milk every last ounce of ET from the car.

I hear you BSmiff. I'll switch over to the th400 after I finish the LQ9 build. I'm putting together a 408 stroker and gonna use my existing nitrous setup. For now I'm just having fun.

Thx NitrousExpress. Honestly I haven't read the plugs yet. I know there's a lot of info here about how and when. Do you guys have a specific plug you pull? Do I shut off the car immediately after the 1/4 mile? What is the best tool to access the said plug as fast as possible? Extension or flex? Thanks in advance. I'll carry an extra plug in my pocket so I can get back to the pits.

It is generally best to pull all plugs when initially tuning a car for nitrous so you can get a general idea of what the motor likes. Not everybody has the time or the patience for that but it would benefit you to know if a plug is getting way too much timing or way too much fuel.

So if IIRC you would have to shut down immediately after crossing the finish line, pull over to a safe area and change all the plugs out. Damn. What's the fastest any of you guys have done this? Gonna need some Kevlar sleeves cuz that bitch is gonna hot as hell under hood!!

Get a friend to bring a 4 wheeler or at least a tow strap and pull the car back to the pits if you can. You will also want to drive the car to the track then change the plugs and tow it to the starting line if you can. I'm sure you have a .10 or .2 in leaning it out depending on your timing.
