Default nitrous outlet stinger plate on the dyno

For the last 2 years my car was the typical cam only car with a cheap nozzle kit. On the dyno it made 357hp na and 436 on a 63n jet threw a 4l60e and 10 bolt and ran 6.90's at 96-97. It got to the point that I was breaking 4l60e's often. Last summer I went a best of a 6.94 at 97 with a 1.45 60ft and broke the 4l60e and 10 bolt at the same time. I went to a fti turbo 400 and a moser 9 inch because I was tired of breaking parts. Over the winter I decided that it was a race car and would eventually get a 408 and a big shot. I decided to go ahead and swap to a super victor intake with a stinger plate. Last week everything was finished and the car hit the dyno. On motor it made 345hp and on a 78n jet it made 595. I was shocked at how much hp this plate makes on a basically stock engine. When I went to the track I experienced some horrible wheelhop that made leaving on spray impossible. I decide to wait until 2nd to spray it and it went a 6.95 at 101.99 with a 1.63 60ft on a 52n jet hitting the limiter on the 2-3 shift. I know the et is nothing special but I am very happy with the mph. I can't wait to get the wheelhop fixed and leave on the big shot. anyways I wanted to say thanks to nitrous outlet for making a very impressive plate. Here is a short dyno video

So how's the throttle response? Same cam as previous intake?

Some good numbers! I have a similar set up cam only th350 12 bolt and had a hsw plate one a 62 jet. Just swapped to a super vic, accufab 4150 and stinger on a 78 jet! I can't wait to get it retuned this weekend don't know if in gonna spray it on the dyno yet but I'm definately ready to see how it hits and does at the track!

I have a little update. I was having horrible wheel hop on the 6.95 pass, I adjusted the tq arm and fixed that problem. I decided to jet it for a 150 shot and spray it about 10 feet out. I noticed a great improvement and was very happy with the time slip. It went a 6.60 at 104 on a 1.48 60ft. The next pass it went a 6.57 at 104 according to my dad but the printer was messed up so no proof. I finally decided to spray it dead out of the hole and it immediately spun violently and I cruised down the track to an 8.3 something et lol. With a little suspension work and the 78n jets I believe a 6.30 is possible but who knows, I'm just really happy how well this thing runs

I decided to spray the 78n jet tonight. The 1st pass it immediately spun, hit the limiter and shot a nice fireball out of the tb body. I come back around and have my tuner check everything and luckily I didn't hurt anything. I decided to make a pass and wait until 2nd to spray, in 3rd I saw the shift light on about 15ft feet before the finish line so I let off the nitrous and ran through through on motor. The car needs the converter tightened a little and I plan to go to a 28x10 slick because these 275/50 radials are very hit or miss on spray. Anyway here is the result. 1.60 60ft 6.62 at 106

what shocks are u running??? do u know where ur instant center is at??? you can get it to work on the radial.. im not a fan of using electronics but in ur case with a 275/50 and the size shot ur hitting it with its to violent.. u need to leave on nitrous with it set to 50% and bring it in.. you cant roll out on motor then once u hit 2nd hit it with everything, it will never work.. to stop the wheel hop tighten the extension on the shock if u have a double adjustable in the rear which i highly recommend.. if u have any questions feel free to PM me.. ive helped a couple guys on here figure out there suspension issues.. ive honestly hit my car with an 83 jet with no help of electronics right out of the hole no problems.. but im also on a 275/60 radial.. like i said if u do have any questions feel free to pm me and ask.. have no problems helping people out with there suspension setups..

It is picking up A LOT on the big end. I agree with the above, get a controller and get that 60" down and she will be on rails.

at the time it had Viking da shocks on the rear set at what the factory baseline was. I have cured the wheelhop, the tq arm was set at the top hole in the crossmember, I moved it down 2 or 3 holes and that fixed the wheelhop. At the time the front suspension was bone stock with no sway bar. My bmr k member, upper and lower control arms and Viking da coilovers with 300lb springs just arrived and will be going on this weekend. The radials were getting pretty wore out so I bought some 28x10 hoosier slicks. I ran it with them last Saturday and made 2 decent passes, 1st was a 1.57 60ft 6.63 at 106 and the next was a 1.53 60ft 6.57 at 106. I was spraying about 15 feet out and it was still spinning. My main question is what is a good baseline shock setting for the front and rear with 19 way da shocks. I appreciate any advice, I am hoping to get the car into the mid 1.3 60ft range

Have you called bmr? They help us a bunch with my 13 mustang. Also if you post a current video of your launch it would help.

I've never really used viking shocks so I have no idea what the valving is like in them. Start with them in the middle and adjust as needed. I use strange and Mine are actually set completely tight cuz I'm leaving with so much power now. I'm to the point where I need to run a limiter and take shock travel out o

Mine picked up around 235hp on an 84 t 82 jet I believe it was. And rich at that.

I also ran into the backfire issue I stepped to colder br8's since my br7's were too hot and I really need to do some more testing and reading plugs once my trans goes back in. I feel the jet spread is still too rich.

The one good pass I got where I didn't have a back fire issue was amazing. Don't want to disclose times since mines a little bit of a grudge car. But best 60 ft as you can see with me blowing my bald 28x11.5 qtp's off was a 1.53. I need shocks badly on mine stock up front and comp engineering rears. I put the factory rears in to try since I've had good luck with them.

The plate hits hard as crap tho very happy with it lol!
