Default To spray or not to spray?

Have done a little searching and im seeing answers all over the place. SO don't murder me on here I don't know a hole lot about the juice
2002 stock motor LS LTs ORY pipe lid 3500 stall and pretty good high octane pump gas tune
1.all I want is to spray 100 shot would I need a retune to play safely?
2.should I spray before or after the MAF?

You running stock injectors and fuel pump?

To do it "safe" you really should pull a little timing and run a better plug than stock. I have a friend that has a full bolt ons 2000 SS with a 125 shot, and he's doing fine with stock pump and injectors, but he's also running BR7 plugs and pulling 5 degrees on the nitrous

kinda what I was thinking have had another guy tell me to pull it 2 degrees guess im not quite ready for the bottle

It would be better to get the car tuned on the nitrous so you can get the full potential out of the system. Also if it's a wet system you will spray after the maf.
