I have a nitrous outlet 10lb bottle ( new ) and picked up a 3000 nano kit. The nano kit did come with a new valve for the nitrous bottle. So you question is do I really need to replace the valve ( in bottle ) with the one with the nano kit ?

Our valve already has a push port so you won't have to run the other valve.
