am i going to have to butcher my cowl? *stinger kit
I used to have a fast set up, but i sold it for a vic jr set up because i anticipated going the turbo route. Ive since decided to go back to nitrous and ordered a stinger plate kit. Should i run a nitrous outlet elbow with my nck williams 92 tb, or should i go with a 4150 tb. I do not mind cutting the cowl, but i dont want to cut it to the point where its visible with the hood down. anyone running a similar set up?

You would have to cut the cowl quite a bit to run a Vic Jr, Stinger, and 4150. Even with the elbow, you couldn't run a Stinger and clear it. Best bet would be to run the elbow and a TB plate or puck. Or direct port :-D

i dont mind cutting the cowl i just dont want to butcher it or completely remove it. I hate the look of the vfn extended hoods do that is not an option. I already have the vic jr and ordered the stinger kit.

I have a Vic Jr with the stinger plate and 4150 TB with extreme velocity carb hat and I just removed my cowl completely flush with the windshield. I actually had to notch my VFN hood quite a bit to clear it but my carb hat is pretty tall. IMO if you want the most from your setup, cut the cowl and run a stinger with a 4150. You wont regret it.

I'd like to see the ram air kit when finish. I've been trying to find the best way to get air to my 4150 for awhile now. I've seen one or two doing it with a carb hat and velocity stack at the front bumper, just wondering if it improved et.
Always heard that a 90* elbow slows the car down, just wondering if the carb hat by itself slows the car down. Have you done any back to back test with and without the carb hat?
Thanks!
