Default Burst disc fitting size

Anyone know what thread size the burst disc fitting is that goes into a bottle valve? I have a valve with only two ports and I want to add a tee where the burst disc fitting is to get a pressure gauge on there. Hoping it is 1/8 NPT. Thanks

It's not going to be 1/8th thread. It's a straight cut thread and unfortunately you're not going to find anything to work because it's not a traditional thread taper.

Have you thought about drilling and taping the side of the valve?

I have not thought about doing that and probably won't. Just end up using an inline adapter and remember to open the bottle before turning on the heater. Thanks for the info.

Could always update your bottle valve... $95 for a NX Lightning valve that has a gauge port
