Hey guys, I was wondering what's the best times with a stock lq4 on the juice? And how much is it safe to spray on an iron block. Thanks

safe? relative word, I sprayed 300 but after a long trial and error. I would safely say 150 range and you can be still a little off in your tune and not blow up. it's the whole setup, fuel, pressure, plugs timing etc. The blocks fine it's everything else you throw at it.

Times are going to depend on what vehicle, trans, etc..and how much is going to depend on what other mods are done as well.

This is far too vague...but just for instance in a 3500lb race weight car making 400hp at the tire on motor through a 4l60e and maybe a 1.7'ish 60 foot time you'll likely run a very low 11 or maybe a high 10 on 150 shot. There's just so much involved in proper nitrous tuning and running a nitrous car... Safe? Well an LQ4 its inherently a pretty resilient motor assuming its a good running LQ4, so 150 wet shot with some good fuel, proper heat range plug, and conservative timing will probably last just about forever. Anything much more than that and you're getting into a more serious setup that needs careful tuning and much more attention to the fine details and you'll be stretching the limits of the stock parts without your tuning being spot on. It also depends on how many bottles you're going to run through the thing... Nitrous is violent, on everything.
