Default Want to switch to direct port.

I currently have a forged motor that was built by Speed, Inc. I was thinking about switching to a 150-200 direct port shot.

I have a stock fuel system if that helps. Which is the best direct port kit? I'm currently running the NX wet kit. How hard is it to install, does anybody have any pictures of the install or anything? Thanks!

Your best bet would be to go with a seperate fuel system for the nitrous(Well this depends on how much nitrous you plan on spraying).I would sell the kit you have now and just buy a complete new kit.It would be cheaper than piecing together a kit.

I suppose I could do that.

What do you mean by a seperate fuel system? Im a newbie in that field. Like a stand alone or what? I've already dumped $30K into this car so I want to keep the spending down a tad.

I know I should get an inline fuel pump, but not sure which one to get. I also think I have 28.8lb injectors, wonder if I should get bigger ones?

I want to run around 150 shot or so. Maybe more with my forged motor.

Stand alone fuel cell? Wow, more weight to the car.

The standalone fuel system weighs less than 8 pounds dry. This might help answer more of your questions. http://www.derty.org/?body=Installs&content=directport

By far this is the best way to go. Total cost for something like this is between 400 and 700 dollars depending on what you choose to do.

In the photos there, you will see on the 3rd shot, where the battery was located, is a fuel cell. This will supply fuel to the Fuel Solenoid of the kit. You will have to relocate your battery to the rear. Yes you have the 28's.

In this link it shows another location where you could use the extra tank.

Here is a link to an actual write up. See what happens when you use the search feature.

Also, don't mess with a inline fuel pump. Get a intank and be done with it. My inline wasn't enough so I had to install a intank.
