NX direct port in summit??
anybody seen the NX direct port n2o system? I was wondering how great of a kit this was and what upgrades if any are needed. The kit says its a plug and play and no disassembly of the engine or solenoid mounting is necessary since all is contained in some new fuel rails that have all needed items built into it. Just wanting to see if anybody has it and/or get some feed back on the kit from the pros.

I had a buddy talk about it. Said all the fuel rails, etc where built in together. All you had to do is pull your rails and replace them with the kit. Pretty clean he said. Has anyone seen it?

I believe that is the NXL kit.
It looks good but I believe there has been a few "issues" that may all be resolved. Do a search on this forum using NXL. I have heard complaints about the plastic hoses and other issues.
I personally like the way it looks and seems the easiest way to do a DP system by replacing exsisting fuel rails and putting the nitrous/fuel nozzle under the injector. Very clean, almost plug and play!

I had one, matter of fact probably the first NXL to report back pro's/con's. It is a beautiful kit, and if I hadnt had issues I'd still have it. So there is no misunderstanding, the issues you can search NXL and will see there were reports of it bogging off the line, enough so that I was able to outrun the NXL 60' time running NA! Other than that, it was ******* sweet, but not to cool when your jetted to 220 and launch off the juice, it stumbles and then starts booking out, lost to many races. If there was a way to hook it up to a dedicated fuel system it would be killler, or it doesnt bog anymore.

Hmmm initially they were rated at 300hp IIRC, I know I ran mine first few times out at 180 (yes that was the jet pattern not actual hp output) and then jetted it to 220. Might have to talk with Dave and verify the hesitation is no longer an issue, see exactly whats been done to fix and if there is a "you get a hesitation we'll refund your money" deal I would jump on it again. Even if its only 220 shot, that would work nicely with another 100-150 dry.
