Bad times on N2O HELP
OK I went to the track this weekend for the first time with the N2O. I ran consistant 13.2's at 103 on motor. Then I heated the bottle up to 1100 psi and went with a 100HP shot. 12.9 at 105. Everything seemed OK no surging popping etc. So when in doubt try a 150HP shot 12.7 at 108. These times are WEAK. And I got them more than once. Obviously I have a problem somewhere but everything seemed fine car ran good on and off the juice the power and top speed just were not there. I have a NX wet kit gen II (Heater, purge, RPM switch at 3200 and 5800, Fuel Pressure saftey switch, blow down tube, TR6's gapped at .40 and remote opener) My car is a 2000 Firehawk Auto with a Vig3200 and the basic bolt ons. I was running 1/2 tank of 93 octane with 5 gallons of 100 mixed in. Any suggestions?

Check the screen on your nitrous solenoid. It may be partially clogged. Also, you might check your fuel solenoid. Either one clogged will produce only a little power.
Are you running an a/f gauge? That would have given you your answer......
Super rich=clogged nitrous noid, very lean = clogged fuel noid.
You can get one here>>>>> www.dynotunenitrous.com

It's most likely a clogged nitrous noid, or nitrous filter, or some other problem with the nitrous feed. In most cases you can get away with stock plugs on 100 or less, so TR-6's gapped at .040 shouldn't be a problem. If you had a problem on the fuel side, I would think you would have had some melted pistons. Plus I think you would have ran alot faster being on the lean side. I would look into both noids and check the filter to be safe.
Also, check how your nossle is pointed. Maybe it got turned a little bit in the bellows.
Good luck.

OK, The bottle was full and I only made 4 nitrous passes. On the 100 shot I cut 1.85's 60, and 12.9 at 106. On the 150 I cut 1.79 and 12.7 at 108. It didn't seem to get loose at all I had ET Streets. I don't have an A/F guage. The kit is obviously doing something, it did take .5 off of my motor times, thinking more about this could the Fuel Pressure Safety Switch set a little too high cause a symptom like this? Maybe it's cutting the system of with the slightest drop in FP, but it doesn't seem to be surging.....

Check to make sure you have the WOT switch fully pressed, it might be one during the launch and turned off once going down the track.. Aslo what jetting Numbers are you using.

OK I'll check my WOT switch but I did feel the system re-engage after my last shift at the end of the quarter mile. The jets for the 150 shot are 62 N2O and 33 Fuel. The 100 shot are 52 N2O and 28 Fuel. When I installed the kit I logged runs with HP Tuners and the A/F ratio at the time seemed good. I did not have the cable to log my runs at the track. You are right though I know I need to make a trip to the dyno. This was the last weekend for racing and I wanted to get some new times.
