Default How far is to your "local" track - do your drive or haul?

So just wondering about Nitrous users who race if you care to share here:
1- Where do you live?
2- What's the drive time to your track?
2a. - 1/8 or 1/4 mile (either or closest of each)
3- Do you haul or drive?

1. NE Pennsylvania (Luzerne County)
2. Numidia Raceway, 1/4 mile drag strip, 43 miles away
3. I drive. My goal was to build a car I could drive anywhere and race when I got there.

I'll answer my own post:
- South Carolina between Columbia and Myrtle Beach
- I have two 1/8 mile strips within 1 hour (Midway and Silver)...closest 1/4 is Darlington closed (1 hr), Rockingham NC - 2 hrs and Carolina @ Jackson, SC near Augusta 2 hrs.
- I drive to the track

I change my wheels/tires etc at home. I'm considering a small enclosed trailor (to be pulled by my non-existant pit crew, lol) with tools/air compressor and added security in pits too swap tires at track. Trying to make Test N Tunes sessions more productive than tune at home and live with it. (See Dave I do need a Maximizer 2).

I live in central Minnesota...

RockFalls Wisconsin.. Is the 1/4 mile I am closer to.

Drive my car 2 1/2 hours one way there threw the Twin Cities, and almost ran 10's last time (should of). Pass everyone pulling there cars home on trailers..., with the air on and getting 20mpg....

Did I mention LS1's rule the earth?

There is a 1/8th mile track about 30 miles away, but I never go to it. Then Beech Bend is around 55-60ish miles, 1/4 mile of course I always drive, but it's not like I have a race car or something.

1. Palm Bay, FL
2. Orlando Speed World, 1/4 mile track, ~70 miles away or so (1 hr drive give or take)
3. I drive because towing is not an option for me. I'm still in grad school and I cannot afford a tow vehicle and/or trailer. If I could thouh, I'd definitely trailer it, then I wouldn't be worried about breaking something at the track and having to figure out a way to get back home.

Closest track is about 80 miles but doesn't hook. I usaully go to US41 which is 160 miles. Drove the car last year and blew two trannies, so this year I trailer her.

State Capital is around 1:15, 1/4
Eunice 40min 1/4 (crap, hardly even good for TNT)
No Problem Raceway 1:30 1/4 its the track to go to
I always drive when i go, but thats cause the car is basically stock right now. one of my friends always trailers his car, so unless both of us break, we can get the cars home.

1. The big city of Palm Bay, FL
2. 1 hour to Orlando Spin World (1/4 mile), but when I want a REAL track, I go to Bradenton (1/4 mile) or Moroso (1/4 mile), either about 2 hours away.
3. I drive but, but my friend usually trailers so we have it for emergencies... Not needed yet, thank God.

1. 45 minutes
2. 1/4; but have 2 other 1/4 tracks into 2.5 hours
3. Haul. Drove for the 1st three years, but since hauled on open trailer the next 2 years and the last 2 in my inclosed. It is nice just to make sure that you have your gas and nitrous filled, hook up and good. No changing tires, no rain, no dirt, no one to steal anything. I attached a picture of the enclosed trailer (mine's the one that is enclosed, with awning, table and all kinds of crap around it.
