Is the cigarette lighter a good place to wire the purge, and the arming switch? Or would I end up blowing a 5 amp fuse everytime I armed the purge?

I'm either going to wire the purge to the arming switch, or to another 12v source. What do you guys think?

I put my purge button in the cig lighter and it looks pretty sweet. I also have my purge piggy-backed onto my arming switch and havent blown a fuse yet.

If you have an NX purge they recomend having it on a 10 amp fuse. The arm switch draws very low amperage. Less than 1 amp.

Check your owner's manual but I think the cigarette lighter circuit is on a 20 amp fuse.

Not sure what you mean by arming the purge.

They can both be fed from the same 12v circuitif you want.
