Default Do you think this is resonable?

I want to get a nitrous kit completly installed and everything for $1,000 or less, it would be a 75-100 wet shot and i would need it installed becuase i can't do something like this myself. I want is to be as safe as possible and upgrade the fuel pump, and would bigger injectors help also?

I also want a purge, but it come come later if it will break my 1K mark.

Just curious if this is a resonable price, or if it would cost more

thanks,
Nick

I'm also starting to price all this materials, this is what i was gona start with

http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=115

can anyone give me the links to the other things i would need.

but i guess i would just have the bottle open/close and purge not functional untill i got those things.

and this is were i want to mount the bottle

right now im at $653.00 for the kit, switches, and the black version of the bottle warmer that was posted

Here is a window switch and purge that brings your total to 851 with a fpss it would be right around 891. You would probly need colder plugs too but those are pretty cheap thats every thing you would need for a 100 wet shot.

Nitrous install is very hard the directions that come with the kit are usually pretty good you need basic hand tools and a drill usually depending on how you set it up but its definatly something you and a buddy could do.

i think he ment to say NOT very hard. As long as you do everything right (and it can be pretty hard to **** up) you will be good. Wiring just sucks.. especialy when you get into window switches...(notice my thread? lol)

i downloaded the car's manual and you were right, it says use premium but you can use middle or lower octanes but it will cause acceleration to decrease.

I'm up to $732 for everything.

Dynotune wet kit - $369
Dynotune window switch - $129 (You can get one cheaper, I wanted 1st gear lockout)
Dynotune bottle heater - $119 (Again, this is an upgraded one that is automatic)
Dynotune Purge kit+ dual purge kit - $82 (completely optional part)
Jimmy Jams switch - $33 (see above)

All parts were new. So yes it can be done. Why can't you install it yourself? These things are easy.

BTW, on a 75 or 100 shot you won't need to change your tune, upgrade your fuel pump or injectors.
