Default Your thoughts on my dyno...

I found these numbers a little odd, although I realize somethings will change.

First off, my car is almost bone stock. Only mods are a Corsa Exhaust and a KandN filter in the stock air box. The nitrous kit is an NX setup with what they call "100HP" jets according to NX directly.

My first pull was NA, and was exactly what I expected. 318whp 329ftlbs. Not bad for a stock car but nothing special really. Second pull with spray the car spiked 566ftlbs and held it to about 3600rpms and then immediatly dropped to about 440 and gently tapered off from there to 360 at redline. HP spikes 388 and drops to 318 at 3600 and then gently climbs to about 360 at redline.

After looking I saw that my afr was in the 9.8 range on juice. WOW. I changed the fuel jet down 2pts (small changes FTW) and pull again.

Third pull was definatly smoother but I still did not pick up any HP over the second run. Actually lost torque for an end result of 365.2whp and 502ftlbs. AFR's for this run were still quite rich in the 10.4 range. I didnt have the jets I needed to lean it out somemore on the fuel side so I ended my day there.

All pulls were done in 4th gear from 50-120mph, or about 2200 to 6K rpms.

I think once I get the fuel dialed in a little closer the HP will go up and the torque will come down to bring them a little closer together.

Anythoughts on these results? The torque is HUGE and the HP is NIL. Seems a little off to me.

Between 1000 and 1100 psi on both pulls.

10.4 for a 100 shot is plenty rich... I run that afr +/- for my 280shot If you get it out to about 11.5:1 you should pick up some more power. The lower you start the dyno rpm the more tq spike you'll see. And what tuning have you done? Spark? And what plugs?

The spray hits at 3K so I knew I would be getting some spike issues. I didnt have the proper jet to lean it out more or I would have to see where that got me. I'll address that next time im down there but I can live with it on the rich side for the time being.

Really dont have any tuning at this point. Waiting on my HPTuners and then I'll be going up substatially on the shot. For the time being its just a nice set of TR6 plugs and good gas.

Where is the nozzle located, and how is mounted? Do you have any pics you can post?

I suppose I could take some if I had to but as of right now I dont have any. The nozzle is in the intake tube between the maf and the throttle body. Its pointed slightly(very slightly) upward since its positioned level to the throttle plate when at WOT. I have checked multiple times for "pooling" or "puddling" and havent found any to date.
