Power to Nitrous and accs.

Power to Nitrous and accs.
Can I use the spot in the fuse box inside the car marked IGN to wire my complete nitrous kit from the purge, bottle heater, bottle opener, traction/RPM Control and the Zex kit itself. If I use a fuse link before the Nitrous Dave ashtray switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John Junkins

i wire right into the acc port in that box. just get a femake connector and tie one heavy ga wire to it to get you down by your feet, then solder like 5 smaller wires to that and use those to run everything. it works out well but i usually bump the fuse up 5 amp

Noyzee do you run your main power for the relays from this or are you still taking these to the battery or main power with an inline fuse still or do you wire everything to the fuse block?
Thanks

Noyzee,
my relays for main power and heater come off the batt.
I run the switch power from the box.
I'm confused?? On what I'm suppose to do. I've already installed it from the fuse box with a fuse link to the the Ashtray switches for Zex management unit, Purge, Bottle opener and Bottle heater. With leads ran to the areas and was going to just hook them up. Is this right or wrong??? PLEASE Let me know.

your switched 12v should come to your box.
give me a list of what you are running and i will make you a verbal sequence of operation.
what WOT are you using, heater, purge? ect ect.
i will try to explain better.
or check out this thread, it may answer your questions.

Noyzee,
My activation and safety switch is in the Zex Management box. And only one wire is to be hooked up to the switch 12v. Your help is greatly appreciated. I'm just about ready to take it back off and just sell everything. I thought it was going to be the easy way to get more HP. WRONG. PLEASE let me know
Thanks Again and I owe you one,

i never did a zex kit, but if it needs switched 12v and it is activation and managment, i believe you can power it right from the fuse box.
i would guess you need to go from the box to a switch, then to the zex box.
did it come with instructions? if it did, scane them so i can read them that will help, like i said i never messed with zex

What about the ZEX bottle heater, It has a built in thermostat that turns it on and off Automatically. And again only one wire to hook up plus the black ground. and the ZEX Traction Control hooks up to most of the ZEX management box and one wire goes to a const power I guess the back of the Alternator? And would I need to use any relays?
Thanks Again have a safe holiday,
