XD-40 S&W For Sale.. SOLD SOLD SOLD 11/20/08

I have a (Springfield Armory XD-40 Service/Compact) for sale. $425 shipped(costs me $45 to ship FYI) from Cincinnati, Ohio. Or if local no shipping, just $400.
The color is Olive Drab and Black. It comes with the XD Gear Kit which includes - 2-12 round mags, Gun Holster, a 2 Mag Holster, Speed Reloader, and Lock and Key.
I bought the gun from One Shot here in Newtown, OH. I purchased it on 12/20/06.
I have shot 950-1000 rounds of WWB 40S&W through it since, with no problems at all. I have not had a single FTF or eject from this weapon.
The reason for selling is to put the money towards the new model that they have released. XD-M 40 S&W

i have this same kit only in stainless. The springfield XD serious is one of the greatest hand-guns, hands down!!
the thing got a 100% rating on everything....reliability, accuracy, durability, etc.
For anyone thinking of getting a gun, do a search on the tests done on XD's, and what the gun testers had to say. I did, and after firing this gun along with maybe 15-20 others, i chose this one hands down.

if you havent sold it, may i suggest some ways to get it sold quickly?
Go to the local shooting ranges and put fliers on the for sale bboards that nearly all ranges have.
also, go to your local gun stores and ask if they will sell it for you. Many will put it in the display case, and will charge a fair fee, like lets say $50 bucks off your sale.
Meanwhile as it is in their case getting checked out daily, u keep pics and fliers of the gun and keep advertising.
Also, while at your shooting range ask if they have any info on local gun clubs. Some of the members may be willing to invite you to a get together to show ur piece for sale, or take it there for you, take some fliers, etc.
