Somebody with a trailor
I have located a straight shell that can't move on it's own power, which is located in Shelton. It is cheap, and if I get it or not depends on if I can get it towed from there to Edmonds (~100 mile trip). If anyone would be willing to tow my car for double the cost of gas or thereabouts I would really, really appreciate it. Let me know, thanks in advance.

Well my buddy in Sweden tells me that just about everyone around here will seriously have to watch out in about a year... At least from a roll

Ok I can't do too much bench racing, but 2600lbs + 550rwhp + traction = 9 second Volvo.
Thanks Mark, I'll let you know if I need a lift but I think I've got it all figured out

Nope, I'm building a fun street car, that'll be 1000+ lbs lighter than a Supra. I'll have slicks for the track, but it won't be a dedicated drag car, and without that, I don't think 9s are in the question. I'll let your offer stand however.

It is possible. But maybe you're just talking smack for my own good; I do get overly motivated and I will go to the grave to prove a point.

I do just enjoy flipping people ****. Especially when it is so easy. You have had a proven "go fast" recipe, in the form of the mullet, in front of you for who knows how long and you have never gone better than high 13s (It looks like). Now you are going to "out of the blue" take a car that nobody wants and only a few people have ever made fast and are just going to "do it"? It's just not that easy and that's why everybody is making you the butt of their jokes/ribbing. When you do build this 9 second car, let me know and I'll give you that hundred spot and then I'll ask you for a race. You can even have the move.

I have only had one run down the track with the clutch holding since I was stock, and that was my 13.8 time.
I'm not trying to build a 9 second car, I'm not even trying to build a 10 second car. It just might be capable of that though. And this has been done before, by lots of people, mainly in Sweden and other parts of Europe. 7's and 8's are common in Sweden with this motor and a full drag car.
What I am doing is building something from scratch that will be totally unique. It will have lots of power, and will handle better than most of the cars on here. My goal is 500rwhp, which should be fairly easy to obtain if I do everything right. I have already done a lot of research, and pretty much know exactly what parts I will be using for almost every aspect of the car. If you can't respect the fact that I have an interest in go-fast cars and that I enjoy doing stuff like this, then why are you on this site?

A 10 sec Volvo? THAT would be impressive to see! A word of warning.....if you beat me at the track, DO NOT come back to the pits cuz I am gonna whoop the HELL outta you Poik!!!
I do have to wonder why you don't put a T70 on the camaro & have a REAL fast car. To each his own.
