Default West sound people...alignment and tires install

Last night I took the front tires off the vette. Well the inside of each tire is horribly worn, the passenger side has no tread left. So this has moved up my tire purchase (I was going to wait till I sold the subaru) So I need to get the tires installed and then an alignment.

In the past I took my Formula and truck to Les Schwab and took both of them back a second time. I took the Tahoe to Big O the other day and can't believe their work and its not even worth hassling with them trying to fix it....thats how compitent I think they are. So, where is a good place to get an alignment as well as get the tires put on?

Back in Kansas I went to a small little ma and pop place and they did great work......haven't found a compitent place yet.

Thanks.

go see Kyle at Discount Tire in East Bremerton
tell him that Russ sent you (with the GTO)
(he might flick you in the nuts, but otherwise he will treat you well)

and for an alignment,
go to LK's Auto in east bremerton (hwy 303 same building as the NAPA)
one of 2 "Laser allignment racks in the peninusla"
and great people.

in fact,
ask Kyle (at Discount) and he will give you a cupon for the allignment at LK's

alignment place sounds good

I think I'm just going to get the tires mounted and balanced from the place where I'm getting the wheels (tomzwheels)

That's not uncommon for the C5 tires to wear like that. The Z06 especially cause of set-up for aggressive driving, like tracking. Though you may need an alignment.

well I went to sears last night.....they wouldn't do an alignment to my specs....some corporate policy BS. Then they said my tires would wear, bla bl bla. The specs I want are very similar to what I have on my formula and no bad tire wear, and I got them from people on here and they said no bad tire wear.

I wasted 45 min waiting at sears for them to help me, then scratch their butts to figure out they wouldn't do it.
