New Seattlite on LS1TECH
XCLR8N suggested I introduce myself here (thanks XCLR8N!)
Actually, my wife and I also joined the PNW Camaro club last week, and attended the monthly meeting in Federal Way, and I'm sure some of the people I met there are on the forums as well. I look forward to getting to know you all better!
We're proud owners of a 1999 Camaro Z28 convertible which is totally stock at the moment. Hopefully that'll change soon! ;-)

Wow, thanks for all the welcomes!
The last time I went drag racing was when I took my bone stock 1994 Impala SS down the track at what was then called Seattle International Raceway, against my buddy's 1996 Impala SS. Mine ran 15.59 and his 15.57.
Before that I was running a 1977 Camaro that I originally bought for $400 down the track. I was lucky if I could get that thing through tech without a pile of warnings. The best it ran was 13.88.
Since then, I've done an LT4 conversion on my Impala SS, but cooked the "performance transmission" I bought from some guy on the east coast (whole separate ball of wax - Ellis is going to help me straighten it out when I get around to pulling the transmission out), but it needs to go down the track so I can see what I got for all that money I put into it.
And now, we have this hot rod LS1 Z28 that I'm dying to know it would do. In fact, I was hoping to perform some aerodynamic testing at the track - run it with the convertible top up, then down, but I heard the track won't let you race with the top down. Darn!
