No, you didn't! But yes, we did have a race. Brian's buddy Josh took runner up to Kenny.
Our club did pretty good in spite of my wimpy effort. FDT had 23 cars show up. And there was a new (old) club there. About 15 Fast Company cars showed up. Most of both of those clubs exited in the 1st round! We lost 2 cars.

IMO Pacific treated CCC very well.
We got two time trials then they ran another one for anyone that came late or only got one hit. There were alot of cars there but they kept CCC moving a long, they also communicated well you are going in five minutes right after _____ runs be in your cars ready to go.

Thanks Mark
I guess I'll have to show up and take Kenny out again!
Glad they treated everyone good it's about time.
I still need to race this year have not made even 1 race yet but maybe this weekend.

Josh (Deezul!) in the Jetta took runner-up on Friday night at Pacific... I'd say based on the numbers from Friday and Saturday, NW F-body is probably #1 in points.
First round Friday night we lost 2 cars, and we got just about everyone through round two, also. I took myself out with a red light.
Saturday, dumbass me was the only one who went out in round 1, and that was because I red lighted!
I have been redlighting like crazy lately, I need to roll my practice tree back just a hair.

I'm not on the list either.
I went out in round 1 on Friday. For the same reason. Either I staged too late or I got too anxious, but I redlighted by .067. Doh! Stupid car staged itself too late. :-P

Yup, an '03 Jetta TDI 5-speed goes into the finals and even trees Kenny! I think it was the left lane...Sarah said she slowed down almost 2 tenths by going to the left lane, and that's about what Josh slowed down, ran .88 on a .70 dial when the car had been dead on all night...oh well, not too bad for dude's 2nd trip ever to the drag strip...I think he's hooked now, lol!

I was out there on Friday in my black CTS-V. I lined up with the other test-n-tune cars. I ended up getting a rain-check after waiting 3 hours and not getting to go. Maybe I need to join a car club...

Yeah that was me. DrEvyl - Where were you guys? I guess I'll have to coordinate better next time. By the time I got to the track I was a scattered mess trying to figure out where to go, what to do, and when to do it.
Yes, I was going to tell the other guys I went to the track with that they should consider joining the CCCA. Even if you go out in the first round, you still get at least 3 runs in, and it the only additional cost is $5 per year to join the CCCA. I guess you still have to join a car club, too though.

LOL! Wow, I was *really* distracted. Geez I have no excuse. Ok, I will definitely find you when I'm back there on 5/25.
"Hello, I'm Vinny 'The RedLighter' Geglia. I couldn't help but to notice this Purple Raptor Formula here, with DREVYL on the license plate. Is one of you Dr. Evyl (with plans for worldwide domination)?"

Just look for a group of 4th gen F-bodies parked together and that's more than likely us. Just watch out for Ellis, he's trouble.

LOL. That Ellis guy IS trouble - we joined the PNWCC because I happened to call him when he was at the PNWCC Holiday party and I heard through the phone how much fun they were having. PNWCC led to CCCA, and so, I say he's the whole reason I got mixed up in drag racing again. ;-) But I think I'd rather say, he helped me remember how much I like drag racing.
At this rate, I'm gonna need to see him for a transmission for BOTH the Impala and the Camaro.
