Default Finally my new LS1

I just picked up a 2000 TA with the M6 trans. Rear end is a little noisy but other than that it seems pretty solid for 75k miles. Previous owner installed some kind of hurst shifter. Can't wait to bring it home tomorrow.

No headers yet. This will keep my happy for a little while. I was thinking of going with some gears next since the rearend needs some TLC.

What do those tips look like?

Thx

As soon as I get the Hoosier DRs mounted we'll go for a spin. With the 315 F1s on the car about all you get is a smoke show.

Scroll down to the hooker cat-back an thats exactly what the tips look like, I just need to clean mine up a bit. They look great on a TA, fits into the bumper very nicely.

They do look nice but I don't think they're going to fit the system I just bought. If they fit i'd buy them. Thanks for the offer though.

Hey I love smoke JK

I'm looking forward to it and at the same time kinda sad about it.

Looking forward because it'll be the fastest most bad assed, insaine, screamin' car i've ever been in.

Sad because mine will feel like a complete gutless slug after the ride

Bring it on :rockl:

you will love the pro 5.0 but you should drive around with the hurst for a while so you can truly appreciate the difference. Ive had a 2000 SS and currently a 2001 Z28 both sported a 5.0 went with it the second time for a good reason. I loved my random technology cat back on the SS imo best setup for the price. but whatever you end up with Im sure you will love it. some advice do a lot of research on here before each mod to learn from others and find out what you should or shouldnt do. this place is a wealth of knowlege both usefull and useless haha welcome to the wonderful world of money wasting on cars for enjoyment. I'm in the vicinity of a $40K+ daily driven project. and its never enough. ok sorry for rambling Im a little tipsy. ~Guy

I already appreciate it even though I haven't recieved it yet. My Hawk had the hurst and I never did replace it so I have a good feel for how crappy it is

I've had so many foxbody mustangs over they years I can' remember which one but I did put one of those shifters on it and it was like night and day compared to stock.
