GSXR kill story
this weekend someone I know who has a turbocharged Camaro was passed by a brand new GSXR crotchrocket on the 405. so they decided to play. the Camaro pulled hard on the new GSXR twice then the 3rd time the Camaro left it in 4th and after the GSXR took off the Camaro stayed side by side from bottom of 4th to top of 4th. :-)

Nice kill, GSXr 1000s are fast bikes! I stayed peg-to-doorhandle with one last year from 60/70 to 130 in 3rd gear. I wish I could take my new car to Florida to race my friends MV Agusta. He's clocked 199 mph according to his speedo.

Need to know what GSXR it was....
If it was a 600 then the story isn't very impressive....
I'm still stock cam, stock heads, and stock exhaust manifolds, and I can keep up with a Gixxer 600....
Just ran into one yesterday that looked back at 150 and shook his head....He didn't think I'd still be there

Passenger probably didn't make much of a difference from a roll unless they weighed 300lbs...
The bike I ran yesterday didn't have anything but GSXR on it.....I just know it was a 600 because if it was any bigger I wouldn't have kept up.
I don't know a ton about crotch rockets, but it looks to me like anything under a GSXR1000 has a single tailpipe, while the 1000 has double pipes...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong

even if it was a 600 Im pretty sure all new 600's regardless of make are 10 second bikes so.......... whatever size it was, it was new. old 600's arent all that fast but whether its a GSXR, an R6, ZX6R, or a 600RR the NEW 600's are fast. at any rate if I had to guess I'd guess 750.

I would have to say, that the bike needs the driver mod... 600's now a days are nothing to frown upon.. as far as LS1>*
GSXR's all have the same single exhuast, unless somebody has changed it up..
ssdriver, it was probibly a 600, cause seriously I don't think a GSXR 1000 would be that easy.. ask NVME, he has a 1000, he has more knowledge on this subject than probibly most of us on this board.

He will be back in a couple months... But I don't think Eric will do any runs, unless something is put forth to the table.. And really depending on what your asking for, as in what to race..

I'm well aware of what the bikes are capable of in the 1320...
From a roll above 60mph it is not difficult to keep up with a 600...
Buddy has a brand new Gixxer6 and he pulls slightly from 60-150...
The one I ran into yesterday was a few years old...

I just hit up a bike wallpaper site and the GSXR1000 they showed had dual pipes while the 600 and 750 had single...
I'm sure Eric can shed some light on the matter but he's over in the sandbox right now isn't he?
