Default cronic lock freezing...

Alright, I've had doors freeze closed, had locks freeze, even had the part of the lock that latches with the striker plate freeze and have to pry it open with a pen or something... But my DD/winter beater has a cronic lock freezing problem... every time it sits for more than an hour in the cold, the doors will open fine, but wont latch.... its the most annoying thing in the world, even more so when u drop someone off and have to drive 20 mins home, holding both ur front doors closed and steering with your knees.... wtf can i do 2 fix this?

Have you ever tried lock de-icer? Some brands have lubricant in them to help prevent future freezes.

LOL! I could imagine riding by someone holding both doors shut while driving...with no hands on the wheel.

BUWAHAHA that's funny, or tie downs.

I guess I'd try some of the de-icer stuff too.

"the door locks are busted, i got to use a ******* coat hanger, if a girlie sees my car there's no chance i'll ever bang her!"

didn't adam sandler write a song about your car a few years back?
