Shave antenna, shorty, replace
ok guys/gals since my antenna is broken in the up position and the cars goin for body and paint this Tuesday, I have a few options for body mods, Shave antenna, make shorty, or just replace it??

So, I'd shave it too. What if it's just making a clicking noise at the top while extending? Can I add a fixed mast, do I have to get a different base,(what's mounted inside the car)?

does the motor make noise? if so you can get a new mast for ~ $30. i did that when i bought my car 5 years ago and it works 95% but it doesnt go down all the way when its off but people have complimented me on here on my "shorty" antenna, lol

Im gettin a new motor instead of shaving it. Im doing this because to me it looks sleaker and it needs something to even it out, just like the gas door on the drivers side...IMO
