Default changing quarter panels

okay, so my quarter panels on the project car are shot to hell, would it be easier and less costly to just switch the quarter panels with the donor car that i have(these are nearly perfect)

also, is there a writeup anywhere on where to cut and weld?

if you have never done anything of this caliber before. DONT DO IT. theres a lot of work to do and i personally think an experianced body man should be the one doing it. it will save you a ton of time and money in the long run.

i understand you have a donor car but remove the quarter can sometimes ruin the quarters when they are coming off.....the end result you being really pist off and your now without another quarter. buying an oem one would be the way to go.

If its partial then it wont be as bad, but if you're wanting to replace the full panel id bring it to a shop.

well the panel was fixed but they didnt do a good job, the rocker panel wasnt fixed very well either, but i guess maybe i should just get the shop to fix them as they sit instead, they just need to be redone in some places.
