First "enthusiast" I've ever heard say that.

I'm going to change to lt1 nose also. I already have my favorite color with an SS hood so I have to wait to change if I get hit. I hope you don't paint that blue hood. That is the color I need but I'm 2 and a half hours away. If you have it in October I'll come pick it up on my way to Florida.

LT1 front end is way meaner & cleaner, LS1's look like Chryslers and you know it

A decked out LS1 with SS hood, ss grille, nice headlights looks killer though. But stock is awful looking. Idk LT1's look good in just about anything lol.. stock, SS hood, harwood, cowl, stinger, all look amazing.

To a degree, stock yes, but that car does not beat ZL1LT1s car, one of if not the best looking one on Tech IMO.

Agree with the above ^^

The 6LE bumper on a LT1 is just about the coolest looking thing I've ever seen.. makes the front end look mean as hell, thickens it out. Lines are perfect.

I know that my plans on converting a 2002, some will say I killed the value of the car, but I look at it this way.....I don't plan on ever getting rid of both my cars, so value is only is only how I see the car.

I will be putting the lt1 SS hood on the car, matter of fact, I'm picking up that hood this weekend at the english town swap meet. Fiber customs is there so I will be picking up another one of his SS hoods. His hoods fit really good, I had a body guy correct the lines on the fenders and I'm happy now with the results. I also in the future plan on running a pro charger setup on this car, spoke with the guys at east coast supercharges, should be involved with that around december of 2013. I know this next statement my upset a few people out there but I as far as a motor goes I'm just going out and buying a new one. Im looking to go big, like 427 small block big.
Why not run the lid setup and modify the hood to clear lid? The LT1 setup will be a restriction if you ever plan to modify the motor.

I like the front of both when done correctly! But Im bias towards the LT1 front end.

I still run the LT1 setup, I don't really see it as much of a restriction, and if it was I use a oversized air filter.

I'm really just still in planning phase of this project. My project I just finished I got a 396 from golen engine works. Which I have plenty of good to say about that project. My thoughts are going with his 427 ls7 motor. Plans for right now...nothing has been put into motion yet, so I will see where this project takes me

Yea if it's what's in your sig your also pushing a lot more air through the motor. On stock cubes i doubt you would see 1/2 of that. Might do it one day if I get bored. Can't hurt.

I want to do this to my 98, I hate looking like a catfish, or a high output 300. Any chance you could find a LT1 ram air intake? I have seen them fit on LT1 to LS1 swaps.

picked up more parts the other day for this project im working on, all im missing now is the front gfx, and the rksport spoiler, and the body of the car is complete. the car should have a interesting look to it as it will have a black front clip, teal ss hood, black plastic gfx kit (working on removing old paint).

more important question here....this car is being converted to an lt1 front clip, also the car will be running with a Ls7 motor. Will a supercharged Ls7 fit under a stock Lt1 SS hood... I know the motor itself will fit but what about the the supercharger? Is there a low profile supercharger that i should look into?

Lol this thread is just people saying the front end they happen to have it the best looking. I think 98-02 ss is the best. Then the front of the trans am is a close second. But I'll think the lt1 front with the 6le bumper is better than the t/a. Ive had an lt1 Camaro and now the t/a. I think lt1 birds are the worst of the fourth gens. Not that they're ugly, just least appealing to me.
