Default Wanted to know if they make a 3rd deck lid design

I have a 1999 Trans Am it has the high spoiler on the deck lid , (2 piece ) that is separated from the trunk but some Trans Am's that I see look like the spoiler is 2 or 3 inches taller than mine. I was wondering if was all in the picture angles or if there is another spoiler that people can get. Mine does not have the low Firebird one . Thanks for any answers, also wanted to know if anyone had baught a ram aor hood from Stinger fiberglass in Florida, if it was a direct bolt on like they say or if it needed some fine tuning and they also claim that you can still use the factory struts , I know a company that sells lower pressure struts for there fiberglass hood that's why I asked. Thanks for any advice

There was an aftermarket wing available, it was sold by SLP.

I'm pretty sure it's discontinued. I think Mecham and 6L Eater made a 4th gen wing as well. They are probably out of production as well.

All LS1 Trans Ams used the same spoiler unless they were a convertible. No additional spoiler was optional on a base Trans Am or a WS6 version. Firehawks did have a couple different optional spoilers from SLP over the years (IROC, Old Lumpy), but neither were taller than the base Trans Am spoiler.

Basically, if it's not a Firehawk then it definitely came from the factory with the same spoiler as every other LS1 Trans Am. Of course, it's always possible that yours, or ones you've compared to, have something aftermarket - but we wouldn't be able to tell without a picture.

Default Ok thanks

Ok thanks for that information on the spoiler, in some pictures my Trans Am's lid looks taller but I guess that's just in the way the pictures are taken, thanks again! Probably posted in the wrong section but anyone know of a good programer to delete and easily change stuff around with

Always loved the Mecham/Iroc wing. Only seen one in person so far
