where to buy new roof panel for hard top z28

The roof of my car has the dreaded paint bubbles and it looks like you have to replace the roof panel to keep it from coming back. Where can I get the panel for a reasonable price? I checked gm direct and the damn thing is like $480 has any one bought one and if so what did it cost you?

Can't that be sanded, gel coated and painted?

Nope its actually the glue under the panel that made it bubble, the whole panel has to be replaced.

You could always try calling a dealer and showing them the TSB. Never hurts to try and all they can say is no.

I haven't found one yet. I did find the roof panel for the t-top car but I need one for a hard top car. How hard is it to convert a hard top car to t-tops?
