OreoWizard, the springs are good to Max Lift: 0.570" as stated in GM Performance catalog.
By him saying the cam cuts up is referencing the LSA it has. Reference video below out of a friends truck.

I really like the sound of that. My plan isn't to build a monster engine. Just a fun one that has a wiked sound. Ive always had in mind the Thumpr cams. Im putting an LS1 and T56 in a 67 Nova. How tolerant would this set up be to a small shot of NO2? Like a 80 direct port shot. Just really for looks.

It will take a shot of NO2 just fine. Really probably have to worry more about the bottom end and pistons if you go to big on the shot. The truck probably has other mild mods but nothing much. That sound is all cam and full exhaust.
