The engine was tuned from the first start up and overall in good condition. Ran well when removed from the car last month. Pistons are clean with no carbon buildup. The engine does have some piston slap when cold which is common for 2618 pistons. Once the engine operating temperature rises, the piston slap goes away as the piston expands. The #7 piston has part of the ridge along the valve relief clearanced. This doesn't affect overall performance, but is notable asthetically. I don't know the story behind this.
I also have a McLeod street twin clutch (aluminum flywheel) in very nice condition. The flywheel is balanced to this engine. The clutch was sent back to McLeod 4k miles ago for a full rebuild (new discs as well). Also includes the McLeod adjustable master cylinder.
Shortblock: $900
