Default AI 853 HC 219cc full CNC heads w/.660 BTR Springs

Category: Accessories
Price: $1200
Location (State): WI
Item Condition: Brand New
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

Just got my heads back from Advanced Induction, but I'm now going with an aftermarket casting so I don't need these. These are fresh and haven't been installed.

Specifically, the heads are GM 853 heads that originally came off a 99 Z28.
I sent them to Phil and they did the high compression 219cc CNC porting. Chambers are 56cc, which will be 11:1 on my 6.0. This was $1,195.00.

These heads have the BTR .660" Polished Dual Spring Kit w/ locators, viton seals, & Titanium Retainers. This was $300.

SOLD

Thanks,
Marc

Are you sure they were 56cc? I had the same done to 241's a few months ago and they told me around 60cc came out to 11:1 on a stock bottom end.

I agree. 56 would be in the 12:1 range. If you could verify the cc, I'm very interested.

Sorry, I think I need to clarify; yes the heads are milled to 56cc, but I was putting them on a 6.0 with flat tops. When I talked to Phil that setup was going to be 11:1. I'm guessing with an LS1 it would be higher. Not sure though since I don't have a 346 LS1.

compression on a 346 motor would be around 11.8:1 according to Phil from AI.

Any time. I inquired because I really wanted to buy these. LOL. 11.8:1 is way too high though for my little daily driver ls swap. Good luck with the sell on an awesome set of heads.

Do you know how much was milled off of the deck surface to get to 56cc? Was the intake face cut also?
