PCM

I bought a 99 LS1 out of a Trans Am from a wrecking yard. They sold me a PCM out of a 2000 pickup to go with it. Will this work at all? Maybe reflash it?

F-bodies are the same PCM 99 & up. Not sure about the trucks and crossing over..

If it is the same, it will need to reflashed for sure.

Someone said some Auto Zone stores can reflash a computer with the correct VIN. Anyone had them do theirs?
