Default hp tuners users

Im making a custom harness that i got out of a 2000 trans am. Im planning on using hp tuners. What sensors can i eleminate so i can make the harness cleaner? For example there is like 4 o2 sensors. Im planning on running wideband so will i need the connectors on the pcm for 4 o2 sensors or what. also the knock sensors will i be using those as well or can i eleminate them too. thanks.

You can get rid of the following:
rear O2 sensor circuits
egr
evap
a/c if your not using it
AIR circuit if it has it

You need:
MAF
IAC
TPS
Oil pressure
coolant temp
knock
cam sensor
crank sensor
coils
injectors

hmm, may have forget one, its been a while.

The only sensors that you absolutely have to have are the MAP and crank sensors. You can find ways around just about every other sensor, though I wouldn't recommend going that far.

Best thing would be find out what all of them do and decide which ones you need/want and which that you don't.

For SD you don't need the MAF. You don't need any of the O2s, not having the front ones makes a little more work to keep the car right all of the time but you don't have to have them. It's also a good idea to keep the knock sensors. Anything else?

You only use the wideband for tuning. The regular narrowbands for closed loop. Just put in a extra bung in one pipe.

The fronts are more for part throttle/idle quality during changing weather conditions. If you want to drive it around you may have to retune it occasionally if you don't use the front O2s
