Default P0300 goes set at idle when cold

I'm getting the infamous P0300 DTC during idle on cold startups. This is after a cam install. I recently had my heads CNCed and found a broken BLUE STRIPE 918, but the break was at the first coil wrap under the retainer so the spring didn't collapse. The people that did my heads told me the MIL was due to the broken spring so I figured I wouldn't get the P0300 DTC after I reinstalled the heads once I got them back after the mill work, but the SES MIL came back. It actually resets itself from time to time, but always comes back within a few days. Since the P0300 always seems to go set when the engine is idling while cold can I solve this problem by drilling the TB plate open slightly? I plan to monitor the IAC counts with AutoTap or EFI Live V5 tomorrow. The LSA is 112 so the idle is a little rough especially when cold.

Default

This is normal with a camshaft and takes tuning to get rid of. Can be desenitized or turned off.
