Can it be done with tech2 or does the dealer have some special equipment. My buddy has access to Tech2 from the auto class at the local Community College.

Actually the dealers use a Tech2 unit to reflash your cars PCM. Your buddy will need to upload the appropriate file based on your vin# into the Tech2. Then you can flash your car. There are periodic updates for factory flashes. Be sure to check for the latest file.

Good luck,

Richard

Most dealers do not have the ability to do it unless the car is right there in front of them. I searched all over the state, before discovering that my local dealer could do off boarding programing. Cost me only $20.
