Fuel Air Metering Code....
I think I am throwing a Mass-Air Flow Sensor code and may need to replace it.
OBD II reads Manufacturer Contr. Fuel Air Metering
Which I in turn read it as saying the Manufacturer Controller of Fuel Air Metering, MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR is either not plugged in or needs replacement.
I've cleaned the connections with MAF spray and the actual wiring connections.
New MAF sensor maybe? If so should I go with a larger MAF with my mods?

You should try and measure things like the at-MAF-
connector 12V supply and 5V signal pullup. If no 12V,
check ENG SEN fuse. But that code is pretty near
worthless (as described). What is the standard Pxxxx
number?

Your signature says you have no MAF and as noted above, 1153 is not a MAF code.

I'm not a fan of hacking MAFs though I've done it (in the name
of science).
Heater and switching codes can be turned off without issue
in my book. Though an overly-messed-with MAF might add
to mixture problems, these O2 sensor "faults" will put you in
open loop with no hope of self-correcting the MAF error.
