Car randomly dies like the pcm is losing power
Picked the car up from the body shop today (extremely minor fix under the rear bumper) and on the way home sometimes the car would die coming to stops. At first I wrote it off as hot weather messing with the fueling...
but then I noticed if you let the car sit and idle it would die, but not like a stalling out, the tach just dropped from a clean idle like a rock just like turning the key off.
I check power to the fuse block and it seemed like the ground was intermittent for some reason, so I backed the screw out and then back in and it stopped doing it at idle, but once during hard braking it did it again.
The only code I am getting is for the TCC brake switch circuit which I've had before...I think the switch I got off ebay was junk it never seemed to work but it's been that way for over a year and never had any issues.
I can't find any other loose grounds or anything...looking for some ideas here, I ran out of daylight today.

I will double check them the engine was hot the other day I have been insanely busy...then the rear end broke a differential bearing shim and started whining
it doesn't die at idle anymore though, only under hard deceleration most notably while also turning
I'll try to get a log once the car is back running from the dead rear end

well been too busy to do any logs yet, but I am going to do my best to do it tomorrow after work...problem has gotten a lot worse
it died twice when I first started the car tonight, so it was cold idling at 1200rpm sitting and just killed off
then did it twice more coming to stops at lights
going to log, check fuel pump relay and pcm relays as well as see if I can check the wire going to my fuel pump, if it were the pump should the car die instantly like this or would it stutter around a moment while pressure died off?

ya i had a simliar issue and it was a ground and i spent alot of money/time looking at other stuff.. lol
frame-bloclk grounds
back or heads grounds
loosen them and tighten them back up... make sure they are clean to ensure a good ground.... sometimes the cable that goes from frame to block gets a little worn or dirty and doesnt work to good....
wish you luck man!

Just for the sake of stupidty, check your fuel filter. I had an issue with my car that ended up being the stupid filter clogged up and it would die out like your describing.
It may be a long shot but it would be easy to determine if that is the case.
Good luck!

it would, but the filter is mounted above the rear end housing and difficult to get to as I don't currently have access to a jack and stands to let the suspension droop
I seriously doubt its the filter though because even during long WOT bursts it doesn't fuel starve and runs perfect
the problem only seems to exist at idle and low rolls while coming to stops or in the middle of normal driving turns around corners
I'm going to log tonight for sure, as the car is unsafe to drive like this so I need it sorted out

here is a log of idle, cruise, and a run in with a 99 cobra
the car never died yesterday, I am noticing on the logs it seems like the car is randomly falling into open loop while not WOT, is that normal?
I appreciate any help. Still going to try to get a log where it dies.
