Default can an LC-1 replace stocker?

I know it has narrow band output but could it just replace the stock one? Is it better to just weld in a separate bung? One of the two is happening tomorrow depending on replies. THANKS!

I've heard of them being wired as both wide band and narrow band at the same time.

I was palling on doing this myself, but never did.

LC-1 has dual analog outputs, one of them is programmed to provide the NBO2 signal.
