Ground side of IAT and ECT sensors?

Default Ground side of IAT and ECT sensors?
Does anyone know if the ground side of the IAT and ECT needs to go back to the pcm or can I use the chassis as the ground.

you'll probably have a ground offset using the chassis, I would take it back to the pcm so they see the same ground as the rest of the sensors
