2.73's to 3.73's tune
i just bought my 3.73 gears and i am looking to get them installed some time after my next check ... i got a quote from a guy and he said that its going to run me $400 to tune my car after the gear change. now this is also a dyno tune where we will help bring more power out of the mods i have done ... i have a cable and 2 programs ... datamaster and tunepro RT... i dont know squat on how to tune my car but i would like to learn ... i know that the cable works cause i can use a program called Freescan to read off my computer how the car is running. my question is how hard is it to change the factory tune to shift right with the jump from 2.73's to 3.73's?

i want to start trying to tune my own car ... i figure this is an easy place to start
here or the other place is the fans turn on sooner but i got a 160* stat so the car is cold running (never passes the first hash on the temp guage)
