Default Slp maf meter is a damn joke what a waste

I purchased the 1998-1999 SLP MAF meter for my 98 TA cause I am building a show car and like the clean look of the IAT sensor in the meter. After I get it I keep getting P0102 SES so I figure maybe after a Frost tune it would go away cause I had did some other work as well. Nope still get it right away. Check the red wire have 12V check one of the blue wires for IAT have 5V. Contact SLP and was told by them their meter wont work on some 1998 for some reason it is a different PCM. WTF so basically I am stuck with a $175 eter for nothing. Plug in my stock just to see what happens car started up and ran shut it down No ses light!!!

sorry man, but I agree they are a waste. I would just stick with a larger stock style one (truck maf) for best results.

SLP is full of **** on the front end and the back end.
It will work if the wires are connected. Accuracy, that's
the big unknown. You should be readng frequency, not
voltage because a dead MAF can still let the 5V pullup
pull up.

Cut the added resistor out of the SLP MAF and it is no different than the truck one.
