I had a similar scenario with a '99 T/A. Would run great when it would run. Might start 10 times in a row, then not start for seconds, minutes, hours, or days. Basically did what it wanted. Started out by checking for fuel pressure. Had good pressure. Next checked for spark....no spark. Replaced crank position sensor twice....same thing. ohmed out wires for crank position sensor...checked good. Replaced computer.....no more problems.
