Losing Fuel Pump Realay Signal
I have a supercharged 5.3 in a long travel sand car, having problems losing 12 volt signal from pcm to relay. I wired a light to the signal wire at the relay to verify that was the problem. Only happens on a long hard run in 4th gear. I can run around with no problems as long as there are no extended runs. Wait about 20 seconds and it will fire back up and run fine. Any ideas? Can I send the pcm in to get repaired or do I just get another one? I beleive the pcm is out of a 05 Trailblazer.

Me too!
I just had the same failure on my 55 Chev/6.0/05 H2 engine, street car. WOT for about 1/2- 3/4 mi, backfire and the engine quit, no fp prime, no start relay. Checked every wire in the car..Found nothing amiss. [I was data logging a drive cycle when this happened..No codes set, but had weird TPS, rpm, and VSS signals after the backfire.]
Reinstalled the pcm... WHAMO! Instant start...
here's a link to my thread on the EFILIVE site. The replies may help...
