Default IAC help

i have a question, i am having a hard time with the idle. it wants to idle around 1500-2000 rpms. i have 2 iacs. i pulled the plunger out alittle on one and installed it unhooked and it idles at 800. while its idleing i hooked other iac up and i could watch the plunger doing its thing trying to controll air flow(plunger moving in and out randomly). i am wondering if the descreened maf could be affecting this or is it the P1637 code i disabled cause it holds and charges fine. i am using a new(advance auto) Fbody alt, i got it for a 2000. is there a difference in the harness i am over looking. the silverado harness has one wire going to the alt.

2000 S10
2000 silverado harness and pcm
ls2 intake fuel rail and injectors
cbm adapter plate to run 3 bolt truck throttle body
descreened z06 maf(could this be screwin up ****)
stock lq4 with ls1 heads(stock cam)
hptuners.(all idle table and spark are left stock)

Thanks alot for looking. this is my first ls swap let alone any type of gm thing(turned from hondas). any type of input is much appreciated!

If the truck in 2000 came with a 85mm MAF, which I think it did, one
85mm is about as good as another until you get so crazy with the cam
that you start double-sampling air at idle. You're not there yet.

LS2 injectors are oversized for a stock 2000 truck tune I bet. You check
that? Overfueling drives the idle RPM loop crazy. And Silverados came with
several motors, what's your real vs donor tune displacement look like, if
you pulled this combo together from multiple sources like it looks?
