Default Question on Pcm Swap...

Well i search and found threads about it.

Im about to swap my 98 pcm to a 01 0411 pcm. I know i have to repin my harness, but i have some questions i dont want to do it and mess it up.

So i need to take off each wire and label it like (RED 1,RED 2, ect.ect) whenever i finish i should connect them back to my same connectors using this diagram?

You need to take a 98 pinout diagram, just like that, and label each wire with the circuit number, and even the circuit name (inj 2, coil 1, tps+, etc.). Then pull them out of the old connector, go to your 99+ pinout diagram, and start installing the wires into the correct cavaties.

Yep. you got it.

I usually take the 99+ pinout, and on one side of the sheet, next to each description of the circuit, write the pin number that circuit is in on the 98 diagram.

If you wanna get complicated, you could probably do a spread sheet in Xcel.

If you need any help, shoot me an email.
